To support our next phase of development, we are looking for a Process Performance Engineer in our Milan office.
Main tasks ⚡
Developing Quality Standards:
Create and implement quality standards and guidelines for all processes within the logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations for all affiliates.
Quality Control:
Establish quality control procedures for vehicle handling, storage, and transportation.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement within the logistics processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Use data and feedback to continually refine and improve quality control procedures.
Training and Development:
Train staff on quality standards and procedures.
Develop training materials and conduct workshops to ensure all team members understand and adhere to quality guidelines.
Customer Satisfaction:
Implement systems to monitor customer satisfaction and address any quality-related complaints or issues.
Work to improve the overall customer experience by ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular reports on quality and security performance to senior management.
Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, security incidents, and corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all logistics operations comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations regarding quality and security.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and adjust policies and procedures accordingly.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as operations, customer service, and IT, to ensure a holistic approach to quality and security.
Participate in cross-functional teams to address company-wide initiatives or issues.
Technology Integration:
Implement and manage technology solutions that enhance quality and security, such as tracking systems, surveillance, and data management tools.
Stay informed about new technologies and recommend their adoption where beneficial.
Objectives :
Establish Quality and Security Frameworks:
- Develop and implement comprehensive frameworks for maintaining and improving quality and security standards across all operations.
Baseline Assessment:
- Conduct initial assessments to determine the current state of quality and security, identifying areas for improvement.
Team Training:
- Design and deliver training programs to ensure all staff are knowledgeable about quality and security standards and procedures.
Risk Assessment:
- Identify potential risks to quality and security, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
Set Up Monitoring Systems:
- Establish robust monitoring systems to continuously track quality and security metrics and ensure ongoing compliance.
Achieve Compliance:
- Ensure that all operations comply with relevant local, national, and international regulations regarding quality and security.
Improve Quality Metrics:
- Implement initiatives to enhance key quality metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in operational performance.
Who we are looking for: 🔎
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Process Performance Engineer who meets the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A degree in quality management, industrial engineering, logistics, or a related field is preferred ;
- Relevant Experience: A strong background in quality management, preferably in the logistics service industry, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality and security frameworks (5+ years of experience) (Must Have)
- Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with technology solutions related to quality and security, such as tracking systems and data management tools, with a keen interest in staying updated on new technological advancements ;
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify risks, assess current processes, and implement effective improvements ;
- Project Management: Strong project management skills and the ability to work as part of a team ;
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Proactive in solving problems and addressing issues before they escalate ;
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Italian/French/German is a plus.
