Job description
As a Business Developer at Otoqi, you will be a key driver of our growth and market expansion in Germany. You will leverage your expertise and strategic insight to identify high-value opportunities, build lasting relationships with key stakeholders and grow our client portfolio across the automotive sector. You will do client acquisition initiatives, attend industry events and trade shows and actively cultivate referral opportunities to maximize sustainable business growth. This role combines strategic thinking, consultative sales and hands-on networking to make a direct impact on Otoqi’s success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Lead Generation & Acquisition : Identify, engage and convert high-potential B2B prospects (car dealerships, rental companies, fleet managers, etc.) using proactive outreach, cold calling, networking, LinkedIn, targeted campaigns and in-person interactions. Attend industry events, trade shows and client meetings to expand your network and drive measurable revenue growth.
Business Discovery & Needs Analysis : Lead impactful discovery conversations, to uncover client challenges and opportunities and position Otoqi’s value proposition in a way that builds trust and drives action.
Consultative Prospecting & Solution Alignment : Act as a trusted advisor, proposing solutions that align with client needs and coordinating meetings with key decision-makers to accelerate deal progression.
Sales Cycle Ownership : Take full ownership of the sales process, from proposals and demos to follow-ups, ensuring deals move efficiently and targets are consistently exceeded.
Client Relationship & Referral Growth : Build long-term, strategic relationships with clients, leveraging your network to generate referrals, expand the pipeline and create sustainable business growth.
CRM & Opportunity Management: Maintain an accurate, up-to-date HubSpot CRM to ensure visibility, informed decisions and predictable revenue outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner closely with Product, CSM and Operations to deliver a seamless client experience, ensuring solutions are implemented successfully and expectations are surpassed.

Your profile
Proven B2B Sales Expertise : 3+ years of success in B2B sales consistently driving revenue growth.
Results-Oriented : Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Field & Networking Savvy : Comfortable with in-person prospecting, cold calling, attending industry events, trade shows and client meetings.
Leadership & Collaboration : Strong interpersonal skills to influence, mentor and inspire teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Languages : Fluent in German and English (C1).
Nice To have
CRM Proficiency : Hands-on experience with HubSpot to manage pipelines, track activities and optimize sales performance.
Start-up / Scale-up Experience : Familiarity with fast-paced environments, agile processes and growth-focused teams.
Industry Network : Existing connections within the automotive, fleet or logistics sectors.
